UNIVERSAL WORLD TAXICAB This "retro", classic-car inspired design was conceived to allow a long production run and to contribute to a friendly city-scape. The low tech / low cost "flip ramp" aggressively establishes accessibility for the handicapped. The center driving postion provides visibility, quick access for the driver to either side of the vehicle, and cheap compatibility for international markets where driving may be on the opposite side of the road. |
